Patrick Sorgeloos is the scientist who made it his mission to eliminate hunger from the world. He found the key to accomplish that impossible task in the most unlikely niche, the brine shrimp. After the death of his father, writer Dieter Honoré meets Professor Sorgeloos, an old childhood friend of said deceased father. What starts out as a friendly, warm conversation soon culminates in a great admiration for the professor's work. The writer does what he does and documents the amazing life story of Sorgeloos, a story that takes us around the world, showing a man who totally devoted himself to science, sometimes at the expense of himself, but always out of a deeply human vision.
