Holly turns her back on London and moves to the Scottish Highlands with her Friesian mare, Rosie, to start a new chapter in her life.
While Rosie immediately settles in at her new home, a Little Horse-Yard in Cawdor, Holly often finds her thoughts wander back to her old life and lost love. But her new friends, her slightly crazy flatmates and the other horse owners at the yard, slowly help her settle and start to see the good things in life again. Particularly Aiden, the incredibly handsome and rich best friend of the yard owner, who makes Holly feel like she has known him forever. When he invites her to join him on a Stunt-Riding weekend in the Scottish Borders she gets a feeling deep inside her she’d thought lost forever.
