Offshore Surveying Volume 3 Handbook

Volume III of the series Handbook of Offshore Surveying is titled Acquisition Sensors. In this volume the authors describe the deployment and operation of Lidar, singlebeam echo sounders, multibeam echo sounders, side scan sonar, sub-bottom profiling, geotechnical sampling and other measurement technology. Underwater acoustics including sound velocity in relation to hydrographic measurement systems is covered as well.
