Images of Power and the Power of Images

Aspects of the everyday are obscured and confounded in order to mythologize them and build authoritative pictures of so-called dominant values that bespeak pride and confidence in the social order. It is the aim of this volume to deconstruct and unsettle some of these constructed myths of social value.
