G. India: Language and Literature

This set illustrates the diversity of Indian language and literature, incorporating translations and discussions of Indian poetry, dramas and proverbs. Albrecht Weber's foundational study, The History of Indian Literature includes analyses of writings from the Sanskrit, Buddhist and Vedic periods.
