Dit boek geeft een praktisch overzicht van kleine kwalen en alledaagse klachten bij zwangeren en verduidelijkt de overwegingen voor het handelen door huisartsen. Het richt zich in eerste instantie op huisartsen en huisartsen in opleiding, maar is ook waardevol voor verloskundigen, gynaecologen en verpleegkundigen. Kleine Kwalen en alledaagse klachten bij zwangeren is de tweede druk van het vierde deel uit de serie Kleine Kwalen. In het boek wordt iedere aandoening aan de hand van een vaste en overzichtelijke structuur behandeld. Elk hoofdstuk begint met kernpunten die de belangrijkste aspecten van de aandoening op een rijtje zetten. De diagnostiek en het beleid zijn voorzien van een rationele en, zo mogelijk, wetenschappelijke onderbouwing. Daarnaast is al deze informatie online beschikbaar via Kleine Kwalen Online. De inhoud sluit zo goed mogelijk aan bij de richtlijnen van het Nederlands Huisartsen Genootschap en/of de Koninklijke Nederlandse Organisatie van Verloskundigen en/of de Nederlandse Vereniging voor Obstetrie en Gynaecologie.
