When Ian starts university, he expects lectures and late nights – not the two strangest people he ever met and the inexplicable events that surround them. George is magnetic but peculiar, and Anna shows up wherever he goes an awful lot for someone so distant. The closer Ian
gets to them, the more reality begins to twist.

His suspicion is inconvenient for Anna. She’s a wadi - a water demon - bound to the mortal world. All she wants is to have a quiet life, and to keep George out of trouble. This would be hard enough without her old enemy showing up to ruin her life (again). The truth is dangerous, but keeping it secret just might get everyone killed.
