A Shadow’s Cry is a poetry picture book about meeting your inner monsters and learning to accept yourself. It is about finding the courage to stay when all you want to do is run, and discovering that the darkest parts of ourselves are not our enemies, but something to listen to, understand and dance with. Even in the darkness, there is beauty.
