Twelve Sonatinas, Op.12

James Hook (1746-1827) showed his musical gifts at an early age, playing the harpsichord at the age of four and performing in public at six. He was an immensely prolific composer of entertainment music, and these 12 light-hearted and melodic sonatinas are typical of his style.
