Evil in the Christian Fantasy of C.S. Lewis and J.K. Rowling

This book analyzes representations of evil in The Chronicles of Narnia and Harry Potter series, examining the strategies for fighting evil that these texts offer to both religious and secular readers. It argues that postwar children’s fantasy engages seriously and profoundly with the atrocities of the twentieth century.
