The Bangladesh Liberation War, the Sheikh Mujib Regime, and Contemporary Controversies

This study examines the Bangladesh Liberation War and the Sheikh Mujib regime. It places the emergence of Bangladesh within the broader historical context of the partition of British India in 1947, analyzes various political and economic aspects of Mujib’s rule, and argues that Mujib’s assassination continues to divide the nation.
