Lincoln's Banner Regiment

When the 107th New York Volunteer Infantry arrived in Washington, DC in August 1862, President Lincoln personally honoured them with a regimental banner. This unit history presents a day-to-day chronicle of the regiment’s actions during the Civil War, from Antietam to Chancellorsville to Gettysburg to their deadliest fight at New Hope Church.
