Nelson Science: Starter Level Teacher's Book

This new edition of Nelson Science provides a practical and activity-based approach to teaching and learning Primary science. Nelson Science Starter level is designed to be a fun and accessible introduction to the subject for pupils from a range of backgrounds, preparing them for studying science at Primary level.

This Teacher's Books supports Nelson Science Starter Level Workbook A, Workbook B and Workbook C and helps teachers to plan fun and focussed lessons with step-by-step teaching notes and answers. The Teacher's Book also provides ideas for warm-up games and activities designed to engage learners in the lessons and activate prior knowledge. Each unit also starts with a section on Things to talk about, giving ideas to help get students talking about each topic. Learning objectives for each lesson clearly are mapped out, and key words are highlighted at the start of each unit. Answers for all of the workbooks can be accessed at-a-glance, and follow-up activities at the end of each unit help to reinforce learning and practice key skill such as speaking, listening, motor skills and collaboration.
