Thucydides: History of the Peloponnesian War 3 Volume Paperback Set

Originally published between 1830 and 1835, this three-volume critical edition by Thomas Arnold (1795–1842) of Thucydides' History of the Peloponnesian War remains a benchmark publication. The text and apparatus closely follows Bekker's 1821 critical edition. However, Arnold freshly collated a number of Greek manuscripts, including the important tenth-century Laurentian manuscript C of Book 3, which led to some revision of Bekker's text.
