Women Pulitzer Playwrights

In the first century of the coveted Pulitzer Prizes, only 11 women have won it for drama. This work presents their stories and the stories of their landmark plays. The work also includes a quick history of the Pulitzer Prize, a chapter about black female playwrights, and background on women playwrights.
