Soil Constraints and Productivity
Samenvatting
Soil is under the radar of people from many disciplines as the doubling of major grain production proposed to be necessary to avoid major food security collapses by 2050. Proper management of soil constraints is considered one of the critical components in the worldwide race between food production and population growth.
This topic is both relevant to US and ROW practices. There are many other soil science titles to cluster with this title – Eric Brevik’s new soil health book will pare well.
There is no existing book covering soil constraints in depth. This book compiles all the available information on constraints and management strategies to enhance productivity of these soils occurring under varying climatological settings.
